What's included

WHAT IT IS A cracked, wobbling, constantly running or simply too-low toilet replaced at your home for a flat price. A chair-height toilet is the single most-asked-for change in the bathrooms we remodel, and it does not need a remodel. WHAT'S INCLUDED • Shutting off the water, draining and removing the old toilet, and hauling it away • A new wax seal, new closet bolts and a new braided supply line — none of the old ones go back on • Setting and leveling the new toilet, sealing the base, and a full flush test with a check for leaks at the floor and the tank THE TOILET IS YOUR CHOICE • You supply the toilet — any standard floor-mounted toilet, boxed and at the house when we arrive. Nothing on top of the install price • +$349 — we supply the Kohler Highline Arc chair-height elongated toilet with a soft-close seat, the same one we put in our remodels THE FINE PRINT • More than one toilet? The first is $289 to install and every toilet after it on the same visit is $144.50, plus $349 for each toilet we supply • The toilet we supply fits the standard 12-inch rough-in. A 10-inch or 14-inch rough-in takes a special-order toilet — choose "you supply", or call us and we will order the right one • A soft or spongy floor around the toilet needs a proper look first; we will quote that free • If the job turns out different from what this price covers, we stop before working and show you a written price — you can say no and get your money back
