Is paying online here actually secure?
Yes — because your card number never reaches our server. Depending on the order you'll either be sent to the processor's own payment page or type the card on our secure checkout page, and either way the number goes from your browser straight to our payment processor's secure, PCI-compliant system. It is never stored on our site, and all we ever see is that your payment cleared. Prefer not to pay online at all? Every order can also be settled by check or at pickup — just tell us in the order notes.
Where do I pick up, and do you deliver?
Pickup is free at our Westerville shop — 7385 State Rt 3, Unit #306, Westerville, OH 43082 — and we'll confirm a time within one business day of your order. Local delivery around Central Ohio is available on most materials; choose it at checkout and we'll confirm the details with you.
What condition is the surplus in?
Most of it is brand new in the box — ordered for a project, never installed. Each listing states the condition plainly and the photos are of the actual item you're buying. Inspect your item at pickup or delivery before you accept it: if it isn't as described, don't take it and we'll refund your payment.
Do you install fixtures I already bought?
Yes. Every installed-fixture listing that involves a fixture — grab bars, bathroom sink faucets, shower heads, toilets and shower doors — lets you choose between one we supply and one you already have. Pick "you supply," have it boxed and at the house when we arrive, and the install price covers the work — with every installation after the first on the same order half off. Shutoff valve replacement is the one exception, and in your favor: the valve and the supply line are always included in its price, so there is nothing for you to buy. If a job turns out not to be what the price covers, we stop before working, show you a written price for the right job, and you can say no and get your money back.
Can a grab bar go on a tile or fiberglass wall?
Yes. We anchor into the studs behind the wall, or use anchors rated for the wall you have, and every bar gets a load test before we leave. The listing asks two quick questions about the wall so we arrive with the right anchors — and if a wall will not take a safe mount, we tell you before we drill, not after.
How do the LiDAR scans work?
We bring our LiDAR scanner to your property and capture it in about 1–2 hours for a typical home. You get accurate, dimensioned as-built floor plans — ideal for remodel planning, permits, listings and documentation. Book online and we'll confirm your appointment within one business day.
