Shower Door Replacement

WHAT IT IS A cloudy, leaking, rusted or permanently stuck shower door replaced at your home. We take the old one out, haul it away, and set the new one plumb and square so it slides properly and keeps the water where it belongs. WHAT'S INCLUDED • Removing the old door, track and frame, and hauling all of it away • Cleaning the old sealant off the tub deck or curb so the new frame beds on a sound surface • Cutting the track to your opening, setting the frame plumb and square, and anchoring it • Sealing the frame with mildew-resistant silicone and testing the door for drips and smooth travel THE DOOR IS YOUR CHOICE • Nothing on top of the install price — you supply the door, boxed and at the house when we arrive • +$499 — we supply a Delta Simplicity semi-frameless sliding door in clear glass, the same door we put in our own remodels. We confirm the exact finish with you before the visit THE FINE PRINT • A second door? The first is $499 to install and the second on the same visit is $249.50, plus $499 for each door we supply • This price is for a standard sliding door on a tub or shower alcove — the ordinary two-panel door that slides. A frameless swing door, a curved or neo-angle enclosure, or glass cut to a custom size is a different job with a different price; call us and we will quote it • The door we supply fits a standard tub opening of 56 to 60 inches. Any other width takes a made-to-order door — choose "you supply", or call us and we will order the right size • Your walls and curb have to be sound where the frame anchors. If they are not, we tell you before we drill — not after • Silicone needs to cure before the shower is used again. We will tell you how long at the visit; it is normally 24 hours • If the job turns out different from what this price covers, we stop before working and show you a written price — you can say no and get your money back
